New Service Lets Automotive Aftermarket Distributors Streamline Their Sales & CRM Processes

Automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors and jobbers can now improve customer relationship management, identify new sales opportunities, monitor sales activity and improve customer service with a new cost-effective on-demand service. The new service, called sales-i was unveiled at the 2010 AAPEX/SEMA Show in Las Vegas, is a proven platform in the UK automotive market that is being brought to North America through a strategic agreement between WebLink Solutions Corporation and sales-i.

JD Meints, WebLink's President, said, "sales-i is a perfect tool for distributors to unearth the gold in sales data and identify opportunities for upselling and cross selling. It includes built-in CRM functionality to put sales organizations ahead of the curve in customer visibility and service." Meints also noted that sales-i was designed for high volume distribution businesses. "In the past our industry has 'made do' with a patchwork of internal systems and perhaps some salesforce.com. The significant difference with sales-i is that it includes integrated sales and customer intelligence, in one system, delivered using an on- demand software as a service (SaaS) model on a very low subscription fee basis. What's more, sales-i delivers real- time information to any mobile device making it ideal for sales reps in the field as well as office-based sales staff. I know the automotive market will love this and adopt it very quickly and we are delighted to be the first to market with this exciting sales acceleration tool."
